Calling all 2D and 3D artists! 2021 Celebration of the Arts is just around the corner. COTA is a five day Art Show, September 23-28, 2022 and is hosted by The Rutherford County Visual Artists Guild and Stonecutter Foundation.
Local artists and Junior Display Artists will have the opportunity to showcase their art at The Foundation Performing Arts Center, Spindale Campus of Isothermal Community Colleges. This is a juried show with a Reception for participating artists and awards for Best in Show, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, and ribbon awards for distinction.
Applications for displaying artists and junior artists are available at the Rutherford County Visual Arts Center located at 160 N. Main Street Rutherfordton, or online at http://www.ArtattheVac.com. Deadline for applications is September 3 and they must be submitted as instructed in the application.
Admission to view the exhibit is free to the public. Everyone is invited to join this celebration of art along with the artists. A gift shop will be open for purchases, and many of the art pieces will be available for sale.
