The day has finally come for the construction of a senior living community in Lake Lure. The
Landings of Lake Lure will be the first community in the area to offer both assisted living and
independent living. The community will provide residents a comfortable and luxurious setting. The two-
phase project will begin with the assisted living community, which is projected to open in late 2023, with
the second phase to add independent living and open within the year thereafter.
The assisted living community will have 62 apartments and include a wide range of amenities
vital to the comfort and wellbeing of residents. The Landings of Lake Lure will provide assistance with
activities of daily living, such as medication management, meals, transportation and personal care, 24
hours a day seven days a week.
The all-inclusive assisted living community will include resort-like features such as an on-site
beauty salon and barber shop, along with a private spa. Each resident’s apartment will include cable TV
and individual climate control. A full housekeeping staff will make sure to keep everything tidy while
providing a weekly deep clean for the residents. The staff at The Landings of Lake Lure will also provide
full laundry services for its residents.
Residents will find pleasure reading on the patio, enjoying a card game in the activity room or
chatting with friends in one of the many common living areas that emit a cozy feel of home.
