Local farmer’s market drawing many vendors

By Veronica Piper

The Lake Lure Farmers Market has just finished its 6th week, and it has proved to draw attention from locals and vacationers alike! Weekly, we see close to 600 visitors, many repeat customers. We have also averaged 22 vendors per week, which will only grow as produce becomes more available with the agricultural growing season. The farmers market runs Fridays, May 5th – October 27th from 4 – 7 PM at Morse Park. We have live music from 5 -7 as well as the Lured On the Fly food truck on site.
