The Return of the Fairies
At long last the fairies have made their way back to Lake Lure Flowering Bridge!
The fairy gardens have always been some of our most beloved spaces. A place of whimsy and wonder that engages children young and old. Since their return after the hurricane, they have set up their camp in the new gardens. When you visit, you may find them reading a book in their library or enjoying afternoon tea and cake.

Commemorative Bricks Return
Jay’s Landscaping of Columbus, NC will be installing all new garden paths, thanks to the donation of pavers from SiteOne Landscaping. The commemorative bricks donated over the years, as well as new ones ordered since the storm, are being staged for reinstallation along these new garden paths.

There is still lots of room for commemorative bricks, and it is not too late to order a brick for the new paths. For those whose brick was lost or broken during Hurricane Helene, we are offering you the opportunity to replace your brick for just $50. This covered the cost for engraving and installation. Inscriptions must match the original brick ordered before the storm. You can find all the details and order form for ordering new or replacement bricks on our website at LLFB.org.
We are excited about our rebuilding progress and can’t wait to welcome you all. Come visit this spring! Follow us on our Facebook and Instagram pages and at LLFB.org to donate and for the latest information.
P.S. – Shout out to the “Hidden in Plain Sight” Green Salamander Art Trail. The Flowering Bridge is proud to host a Salamander. We look forward to welcoming you when this event kicks off on Earth Day in April.
